POTTSTOWN — Less than one week after receiving zoning approval, the developers who plan to transform the former Lastick’s Furniture buildings at Charlotte and High streets have begun to take down the facade hiding the architectural classic hidden beneath.
Rockwell Development Group, which has invested more than $25 million in renovation and redevelopment projects in the borough, is undertaking the $2.5 million project, which will convert both buildings into market-rate apartments on the upper floors and retail space on the ground floor.
